Overview

PRIOjet Logistics, a SaaS platform for arranging and processing extremely time‑critical logistics orders, is the trusted partner worldwide for companies, logistics agencies, service providers, and on‑board couriers.

Our cross‑discipline team builds and runs a leading‑edge platform for the international very sensitive emergency logistics sector.

Lead software development for a full‑stack product, handling backend APIs, mobile and web front‑end user interfaces. Work with our NestJS (Node) backend written in Type Script and React Native (Expo) front‑end apps.

• Plan, architect and implement new features in the backend.
• Drive architectural and feature decisions for the applications.
• Manage the development roadmap with your colleagues and prioritize tasks.
• Iterate and release features in a cross‑functional team.
• Propose new ideas to improve the product.
• Connect the dots independently and fill in gaps as needed.
• Break complex tasks into smaller chunks without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• Balance usability, maintainability, extensibility, accuracy, and reliability.
• Extend and maintain the GraphQL API.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs.
• Advocate design thinking and user empathy; work with product owners to bring UI and UX to life.
• Create reusable, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
• Build technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge and codebases.

• 5+ years of experience as a Full‑Stack Software Engineer, building scalable backends (Python, NodeJS, Ruby, Go) and front‑end apps using React, React Native or similar frameworks.
• Experience with functional and object‑oriented programming paradigms and relevant software patterns.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Additional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Type Script, Expo, mobile apps, CI/CD, Dev Ops, Docker, and functional React using Hooks.
• Experience as a software architect (database, APIs, service architectures) with profound knowledge of Postgres, MySQL, No
  
  SQL, Linux/Unix, cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), Git workflows, and Dev Ops.
• Knowledge of security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Agile Software Development techniques and tools.
• Debugging, testing, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional written and verbal fluency in English;
  German is a plus.

• Experience leading a team of developers.
• Experience working with international and/or distributed teams.
• Knowledge in Data Science and/or Business.
• Fluency in German.
