We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Offers and Checkout team. Our mission is to empower loan customers through effortless and transparent digital services that are trustworthy and self‑serve. We strive to provide a seamless experience from deciding for a loan to formalizing the checkout process, ensuring our customers feel confident and in control every step of the way.

We are organized in a cross‑functional team with FE, FS, BE, QA and Design roles working closely with our Product Owner and stakeholders.

• Own and deliver complex end‑to‑end features for our Offers, Checkout, and Customer Area domains, using React and Type Script in the frontend and Node.js (Type Script) in the backend.
• Act as a driving force for Automation and AI‑driven UX development
  , using your expertise to identify, test, and implement AI to improve our development velocity and testing quality.
• Build and maintain stable, scalable services in a data‑intensive, distributed AWS environment utilizing Kubernetes
  , AWS Lambda
  , and event‑driven architectures.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and UX Designers to build high‑conversion customer journeys, prioritizing a seamless, trustworthy self‑serve experience.
• Drive high engineering standards for code quality, performance, and security while taking an active role in technical decision‑making (stack, tools, architecture) within the team.
• Embody the "you build it, you run it, you own it" philosophy
  , including managing Dev Ops tasks and ensuring full observability of your services via the "LGTM" Grafana stack

• Mentor and grow your peers through proactive knowledge sharing, high‑quality design reviews, and pair programming.

• Extensive experience as a Fullstack Engineer with an emphasis on Frontend and a mastery of Type Script across the entire stack.
• Expert‑level proficiency in React and Node.js
  , with a solid understanding of how to build and optimise frontends for discerning customer bases.
• Deep interest and practical experience in AI tooling and automation
  , particularly in their application to frontend testing and modern UX development workflows.
• Strong background in conversion‑focused business contexts
  , with experience in A/B‑testing infrastructure and data‑driven optimisation.
• Proven experience in structured technical collaboration
  , specifically in writing and reviewing RFCs and working with PRDs to review product requirements.
• Senior‑level maturity
  , demonstrating the ability to own the entire feature lifecycle—from design and implementation to maintenance—in a self‑organised manner.
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure and CI/CD

  , and workflows like Git Hub Actions or ArgoCD

• Strong communication skills and a passion for working in a cross‑functional, agile and supportive environment.
