Software Developer, Full Stack

• Build full-stack, end-to-end solutions from backend APIs to mobile and web frontend interfaces
• Develop the NestJS/Node backend in Type Script and React Native frontend applications using Expo.io and Type Script
• Plan, architect, and implement new backend features
• Contribute to application architecture and feature decisions
• Influence the development roadmap and prioritize work with the development team
• Implement, iterate, and release features in a cross-functional team
• Extend and maintain the GraphQL API
• Integrate third-party services and APIs
• Collaborate with product owners to deliver high-quality UI and UX
• Build reusable, scalable, and reliable software solutions
• Create technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge and codebases
• Identify product improvements and contribute according to personal interests and expertise
• Break complex tasks into smaller chunks while maintaining usability, maintainability, extensibility, accuracy, and reliability

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
• Experience building scalable backends using Python, NodeJS, Ruby, Go, or similar technologies
• Experience building frontend apps using React, ReactJS, React Native, or similar frameworks
• Experience with functional, object-oriented, and other programming paradigms
• Knowledge and application of software patterns
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar technical discipline
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Type Script, Expo.io, mobile apps, CI/CD, Dev Ops, Docker, and React Hooks
• Software architecture experience covering databases, APIs, and service architectures
• Profound database knowledge, including Postgres, MySQL, or No

• Linux/Unix skills
• Cloud Services experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Git workflows and Dev Ops experience
• Knowledge of security best practices and common security vulnerabilities
• Experience with Agile Software Development techniques and tools
• Experience in debugging, testing, and problem-solving
• Professional written and verbal fluency in English
• Experience working in a small, highly motivated development team is desirable
• Experience working with international and/or distributed teams is desirable
• Knowledge of Data Science and/or Business is desirable
• Professional written and verbal fluency in German is a plus, not required
• Hands-on, self-motivated, proactive, autonomous, collaborative, and feedback-oriented approach
