For Hamburg Headquarters we are recruiting a Sales Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) - in fulltime (38.5 hrs/week)!
Your new job includes
As a B2B Sales Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) in the LTC - Liquor, Tabacco, Confectionery category, you will ensure that customer-specific product assortments are selected, developed, and operationally optimized within the framework of central category guidelines so that they are optimally aligned with market requirements, customer needs, and additional revenue opportunities in the B2B sector.
In particular, you will
- select, adapt, and further develop customer-specific product assortments from the global portfolio
- create product assortment proposals for customers, including product evaluations and decisions on product variants
- translate central category strategies into concrete product assortment packages for customer segments
- manage the relevant touchpoints in the customer-specific selection process
- conduct KPI, sales, and margin analyses, as well as market, competitive, and trend analyses, to evaluate product line performance and identify growth drivers
- derive data-driven recommendations for optimizing product line depth, breadth, brand mix, price positioning, and promotions
- accompany regular customer and store visits, prepare product offering and assortment documentation, support assortment-related training, and share best practices at the customer level
What you should bring along
- In-depth expertise in product assortment and category management, with the ability to identify and implement sustainable growth and value creation opportunities
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience working with KPIs, market data, and performance metrics to derive strategic product assortment decisions and clear recommendations for action
- Strong customer and consumer focus, with a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends, and the ability to translate these into effective product assortment strategies
- The highest standards of quality and a strong attention to detail in the design, maintenance, and continuous optimization of product assortment content
- Ability to present complex product assortment and category relationships in a manner tailored to the audience and to communicate them persuasively to various stakeholders
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, particularly in close coordination and alignment with Commercial, Supply Chain, Commercial Investments, and international locations
