Business Operations & Project Manager

Please note:

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Germany and must be based in Hamburg or willing to relocate.

• Prepare project updates, reports, presentations, and management summaries
• Organize and document internal and external project meetings
• Coordinate multiple projects across the business including marine operations, cable recovery campaigns, recycling infrastructure, and commercial initiatives.
• Track project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and action items
• Maintain project schedules and ensure follow-up on key actions
• Support operational and administrative activities across the business
• Work directly with the COO on strategic and operational initiatives

• 4+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, operations, logistics, engineering, infrastructure, or related fields
• Fluent English

  Professional German is an advantage
• Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Hands-on approach with the ability to combine planning and execution
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a growing and fast-moving business
• Willingness to travel occasionally

OEC provides sustainable end-to-end solutions for the Out-of-Service subsea cable industry. As well as having a high level of expertise recovering oceanic cable, we are also an innovative dismantling company. By offering a turnkey solution for end-of-life subsea cables, we control the full end-to-end process of recovering subsea cables to the reintroduction of the commodities/ materials back into a variety of industries through our dismantling facility.

Our headquarters are located right on the Elbe River overlooking the port of Hamburg, Germany which serves as one of the oldest and largest ports in Europe.
