Software Engineering Manager

You provide professional, organizational, and people leadership for multiple software development teams and build a culture of innovation, collaboration, mentoring, and proactive ownership. You establish AI‑native engineering as a standard—leveraging Claude Code, agents, skills, workflows, pipelines, harnesses and context engineering—and make AI‑driven productivity gains measurable across teams You ensure that processes, quality, and security standards are consistently met, with rigorous attention to healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance.

You synchronize product requirements with business-area objectives, mentor engineering leaders, and regularly communicate progress, risks, and innovations to executive management. Extensive experience in software development leadership roles, particularly in the SaaS domain and ideally in the healthcare industry, with a strong track record of successful delivery in cloud environments. Excellent university degree in computer science, software engineering, medical informatics, or a comparable technical field with very strong academic performance.

Strong technical acumen in SaaS architecture, cloud and distributed systems, security, and quality automation, plus a proven track record of driving AI adoption in engineering teams, ideally including hands‑on familiarity with Claude Code or similar agentic tooling (agents, skills, workflows, pipelines, harnesses, and context engineering). Deep experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Lean Management principles and the ability to scale these across multiple teams.

Salary: EUR 63000 - 77000 per year
