INLEAP Photonics is recruiting a Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Hannover, Germany.

Bachelor's, Master's or Diplom in computer science or mechatronics. Language:

Work experience:

Ideally real-time or embedded experience.

The role covers develop the C++ control software for the laser beam steering system with Python for tools and tests: real-time algorithms for beam positioning, path planning and control with deterministic latency, image recognition and laser-based position control including AI-assisted adaptation, FPGA and PLC interface integration, hardware-in-the-loop test automation, modular reusable libraries and systematic profiling and optimisation.

Completed degree in computer science, mechatronics or related; strong C++ and Python with Git; ideally real-time and embedded experience; hands-on, team-oriented attitude in an agile start-up.

Flexible hours, high personal responsibility and development prospects in a growing laser-tech start-up spun out of Laser Zentrum Hannover; central Hannover office (Hans-Boeckler-Allee); start immediately or by agreement.
