Description
As Key Account Manager in the DACH sales organization you will work closely with various departments such as Customer Service Product Marketing and Engineering. Your mission is to develop and implement account growth strategies provide comprehensive support and drive long-term development for our key account customers.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be :- Provide professional support and consultation to our customers on complex applications directly on-site.
- Work closely with the technical inside sales team to optimize customer applications while considering technical pricing and process-related requirements.
- Conduct negotiations and conclude business agreements for the assigned key account portfolio which covers mainly the western part of Germany.
- Systematically support and further develop long-standing key account customers managing existing clients in a structured way and actively acquiring new target customers.
- Identify and realize opportunities for sustainable growth in an international environment.
- Expand solution-based sales in cross-divisional projects particularly focusing on innovative automation solutions from the entire Emerson Automation Solutions portfolio.
- Analyze and evaluate your customer portfolio with the goal of consistently highlighting customer value and clearly differentiating our offerings from competitors.
Represent the company at trade fairs conferences and sales events to identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
Who You Are :You excel at fostering collaboration with your own colleagues as well as senior management ensuring effective implementation of growth programs across diverse regions and subject areas and have a proven track record driving forward‑thinking strategies. Your track record in steering departments or groups toward growth and operational excellence is complemented by your reputation as a visionary salesperson adept at crafting and implementing strategic plans.
With dedication to customers and services deliveries you are eager to play a crucial role in shaping the sales business and Emerson's future and contributing to its ongoing success.
- A successfully completed degree in engineering or business administration.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical field sales with the ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills combined with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them in a practical way.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
- Personally you stand out through high self‑motivation determination and integrity. You enjoy driving things forward challenging the status quo and developing creative solutions to achieve success together with your team.
- Degree in industrial engineering mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
- Knowledge in pneumatics fluid technology mechatronics or drive technology.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
