TSP, a Syneos Health company is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in a permanent direct employment position. This role connects scientific information with clinical practice and focuses on improving patient care in dermatology.

Description

In this role you will be the primary scientific contact for medical experts in your region. You will build trustful relationships, share latest insights, and actively shape the introduction of innovative therapies. Your expertise will influence strategic direction, support study projects, and drive scientific initiatives. Your work directly contributes to raising the standards of care for people with skin conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and develop robust scientific partnerships as regional contact for medical science questions
• Plan interactions and personal visits in the area including documentation, preparation, and administration
• Continuously monitor market and competition, analyze regional network structures to proactively gain relevant insights
• Identify, recruit, and support qualified external experts; build relevant medical networks
• Conduct and moderate indication‑based presentations, scientific training; support physicians reviewing presentations
• Organize and implement regional training and expert meetings including budget responsibility
• Support clinical study projects: coordination with Global Clinical Operations, support non‑interventional studies (NIS), and investigator‑initiated studies (IIS)
• Participate in congresses and symposia, produce reports, and provide on‑site scientific support
• Assess and discuss preclinical and clinical project proposals; active participation in ongoing medical projects
• Identify regional gaps in care and derive measures with experts, societies, associations
• Plan and conduct training for sales force together with medical leadership, training & development, sales; other relevant areas
• Collaborate closely with cross‑departmental stakeholders: marketing, sales, market access, training, medical affairs

Requirements

• Completed university degree in medicine, pharmacy or natural sciences, preferably with a PhD
• Preferably several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially as MSL
• Additional experience in dermatology is a plus
• Ideally experience in clinical study conduct or support of NIS/IIS
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and ability to implement medical strategies
• Strong sense of responsibility, proactivity, and prioritization skills
• High social competence and confident presence
• Ability to quickly and independently learn new indications and topics
• Project management experience and teamwork across departments
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and guidelines
• Understanding of health‑political contexts
• Basic knowledge of biostatistics
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Projects)
• Good English written and spoken; required for international communication
• High travel readiness
