• Your tasks include entering accounts payable invoices, including handling all invoice-related workflow processes
• You will be responsible for checking, account assignment and posting incoming invoices and coordinating with the purchasing department and cost centre managers
• Your work will also focus on account clarification and reconciliation as well as accruals and deferrals
• You will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Processing, controlling and monitoring the relevant G/L accounts are also part of your daily business
• You will be responsible for posting current bank transactions, fixed assets and monitoring vendor accounts
• You support the dunning process, including receivables management, and take over the preparation of advance VAT returns and summarised reports on behalf of the company
• Continuous further development and digitalisation in the area of accounting rounds off your area of responsibility

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with an additional qualification as an accountant (m/f/diverse) or a degree in finance/business administration
• You have initial relevant professional experience in balance sheet accounting and very good knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Ideally, you have knowledge of commercial and tax law
• You are confident in working with ERP systems
• Ideally, you have a good command of written and spoken English
• You are characterised by analytical thinking, initiative and the ability to work independently and carefully
• Strong teamwork and communication skills round off your profile
