Are you an experienced Order Management or Customer Service professional ready to lead a team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations?

Our client is an established international organisation supporting scientific research and laboratory-based markets. They are looking for a hands‑on Team Lead Order Entry to manage a small team and take ownership of the complete Order-to-Cash process. This is not purely a management position. You will lead from the front, supporting your team, processing customer orders, resolving complex issues and ensuring customers receive an accurate, responsive and reliable service.

What you'll be responsible for

• Leading, developing and managing the Order Entry team
• Planning workloads, resources and holiday coverage
• Remaining actively involved in customer order entry and processing
• Managing the complete Order-to-Cash process
• Monitoring order backlogs, delivery commitments and product allocation
• Resolving urgent or complex order, shipping, inventory and payment issues
• Working closely with Sales, Production, Logistics, Finance and Technical Service
• Tracking KPIs covering accuracy, processing times, backlogs and delivery performance
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and service quality
• Supporting system implementations, audits and improvement projects

What we're looking for

• At least five years' experience in Order Management, Customer Service, Order Processing or a similar function
• Previous experience leading and developing a small team
• A commercial qualification or degree in business, supply chain, logistics or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems-Microsoft Navision or Oracle Net Suite would be advantageous
• Experience improving processes and monitoring operational KPIs
• A highly organised, customer-focused and solutions-driven approach
• Confidence working across multiple departments and managing competing priorities
• Fluent German and working proficiency in English
• Strong Excel, Microsoft Office and Teams skills
• Experience using Salesforce would also be beneficial.
