You enjoy working with products, sales numbers, stock levels and availability? You like structure, numbers and operational follow-up — but you are also strong in communication and keeping topics moving across departments?

Then this role is made for you.

As Merchandise & Replenishment Planner
, you ensure that the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right time and in the right channels. This is not a classic demand planning role focused only on forecasting. It is a commercial and operational planning role close to merchandise planning, replenishment, inventory, buying, sales and key account execution.

You translate forecasts, sales trends, stock levels and commercial priorities into concrete replenishment, inventory and ordering decisions. You work closely with Forecasting, Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Success and Finance to make sure availability, supply and execution stay under control.

  • Plan and monitor product availability across channels, categories and key accounts
  • Translate forecasts, sell-in, sell-out, stock levels and commercial priorities into operational replenishment decisions
  • Create, maintain and validate inventory, replenishment and ordering plans
  • Monitor stock levels, safety stock, lead times, sales performance and product coverage
  • Identify risks such as shortages, overstocks, slow movers, supply bottlenecks or out-of-stock situations early
  • Support article-, category- and account-based planning decisions
Buying, Supplier & Internal Coordination
  • Work closely with Purchasing on order quantities, timing, supplier updates and delivery schedules
  • Track delivery dates, production status and supply risks
  • Escalate delays, availability risks or quantity deviations proactively
  • Help ensure a smooth and reliable flow of goods across the supply chain
  • Support invoice-, order- or claims-related clarifications where they affect product flow, availability or customer supply
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Act as a strong operational interface between Forecasting, Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Success and Finance
  • Provide operational feedback and plausibility checks on forecasts, sales assumptions and replenishment needs
  • Translate commercial requirements into executable planning and supply actions
  • Push open topics across departments and make sure planning issues are solved instead of getting stuck
Processes, Tools & Continuous Improvement
  • Work hands-on with planning, ERP and reporting tools such as SAP Business One, Streamline, Excel or Power BI
  • Improve transparency around stock, availability, replenishment and planning performance
  • Support better processes in merchandise planning, replenishment, buying and operational planning
  • Contribute to data evaluations, scenario analyses and cross-functional improvement projects
Your skillset - as strong as our protein
  • Experience in merchandise planning, replenishment planning, retail planning, allocation planning, category planning, inventory planning, supply planning, buying support or a comparable role
  • Strong understanding of product availability, stock levels, replenishment, order planning and sales performance
  • Good analytical skills and confidence working with numbers, Excel, ERP systems and product data
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, wholesale, food, nutrition, consumer goods, fashion retail or a similar environment
  • Ability to connect commercial priorities with operational planning realities
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to actively push topics across departments
  • Hands-on mentality, ownership and strong follow-up discipline
  • Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style
  • Fluent English skills
