We are looking for a skilled Driver and preferably a combination of skills of Driver and Junior Manual Test Engineer with a clear understanding of SDLC and testing theory. Seasoned in testing practice with good investigation skills to join our team in its work on IVI automotive project on-site. The client is willing to have the driver on-site (with QA experience) and the QA engineer (2 persons) who will perform field testing using a pre-production prototype car with a new‑generation IVI system.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Test Engineer
• Computer Science / Engineering education
• Proven proficiency in the creation of defects
• Experience in Test Case creation
• Understanding of SDLC and testing theory
• Knowledge of ADB
• Knowledge of Linux / Windows command line
• Driver's license of category B
• Very good communication skills in English
• Flexibility in working schedule. Shifted working hours are expected. Begin after 14:00

• Prototype driver's license
• High Voltage training

• Attending daily briefings before test drives.
• Performing software updates to the test cars or test benches.
• Performing daily/evening static or dynamic test drives as a driver or test engineer.
• Taking part of daily/evening testing iterations on test cars/benches.
• Performing weekend static or dynamic test drives by additional customer requests.
• Executing test plans/test suites based on priorities provided by Test Manager/Test Lead.
• Recording traces and providing proper time markers for defect analysis.
• Converting and cutting logs based on markers and adding them to the defect reports.
• Creating defect reports directly after a test drive/run in internal or customer defect management system.
• Producing Test Reports/Test Summary Reports after test drives/runs.
• Creating or extending Test cases/suites/plans for testing needs.
• Supporting the engineering team by testing dev‑drops.
• Providing immediate feedback or rectifications to the Tickets Coordinator, FO, Program Lead, Project Lead, etc. requests.
• Collaborating with a car manufacturer or IVI system development team.
• Conduct business trips by client requests.
• Daily presence in the office or customer premises.
