Supporting large Vehicle Manufacturers in the area of Development, Production and Aftersales is Luxoft's ambition. The Software inside a vehicle was traditionally expected to be a very controlled and self-contained environment. Bringing cars into an "always online" mode changes a lot in the overall picture of the vehicle manufacturer.

Luxoft's goal is to empower our customers, with deep domain knowledge and smart solutions, to develop cars of the future. Great mechanical engineering is not the only criteria anymore for delivering the best cars in the world. Using state of the art software technologies are key to provide the requested user experience. About the Project:
The customer is developing an edge runtime system for the new vehicle architecture. The manual test cases are already developed and an automation test framework exists. The test framework uses Azure Pipelines to execute test cases on a Test PC via Robot Framework. Python is used to develop support functions (checking preconditions on the test setup like version numbers). The Test Object / Setup is running in a Ubuntu / Linux environment.

The System to be tested is an in-vehicle component connected to the Cloud. The test cases are a mix of complex and straightforward test cases and expect Linux system and networking know-how as well as basic python skills. The goal of the project is to ensure regulatory guidelines for several data collection use cases by manual testing in the vehicle and increase of number of automated test cases and extend the test setup for Hardware in the Loop and prototyping in the next phase.

• support the realization of a new diagnostic solution based on service-oriented communication for a German OEM as part of our agile scrum team.
• manual in-vehicle testing
• implementation of automatic test cases with Azure Pipelines, Robot Framework, and Python
• analysis and reporting of defects in close collaboration with the development team
• support the development team with analysis of issues
• improve the existing test framework
• work closely with the manual test team to improve test cases
• doing test drives to fulfil certain scenarios for data collection use-case & performance testing

• Driver License B
• Prototype Driver License
• Expertise on vehicle-test execution
• Experience in testing activities on System Level

• Volkswagen Group experience incl relevant tools like ODIS, IDEX, KPM,...
• Python (advanced)
• Robot Framework experience
• Linux (System / Networking)
• Advanced experience in Test Automation
• Hardware knowledge

• Expertise on HIL Testing
• Good knowledge in test processes, test techniques & reporting
• Good understanding of agile test approach

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, Automotive tester, Agile tester or similar desirable
• Experience in vehicle diagnostics would be a plus (UDS, DoIP)
• Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform know-how
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in automotive / embedded domain
• Experience in designing, developing and maintaining of automated testing framework, harness and tool set
• Expertise in test automation tools for embedded systems
• Knowledge of vehicle bus-systems and protocols (Ethernet, CAN)
• Advanced experience in creating automated tests, execute them and collect results
• Diagnostic knowledge in VW Context (UDS, VW-Norms)
• Knowledge in SOME/IP, ViWi, TCP/IP, MQTT, RESTful services would be a plus
• Experience in agile development (SCRUM and/or SAFe) would be a plus
• Experience with Google Test-Framework would be a plus
• Knowledge on AUTOSAR Classic or AUTOSAR Adaptive would be a plus
• Understanding of Service oriented architecture would be a plus
