The role: We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager AI to drive our AI transformation end-to-end. You’ll shape the AI strategy, connect strong in-house data capabilities with real business outcomes, and build platform and product experiences that scale across the marketplace. You will be part of the data team and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Growth teams, Legal, and Security to ship AI features that improve customer experience, growth, safety, and operational efficiency.

• Lead AI strategy and roadmap: Define and own our AI strategy aligned with company goals; identify highest-impact bets for customers and internal workflows and shape road maps accordingly.
• Enablement and culture: Scale AI enablement across the company. Educate teams on AI best practices; run workshops and foster exchange between teams.
• Experimentation and measurement: Set clear success metrics and run robust evaluations, monitoring and A/B tests.
• Coordinate AI efforts across teams: Establish shared AI building blocks (e.g., tool landscape, prompt/knowledge management, evaluation framework). Create an internal “AI playbook” and reusable components to avoid duplicate work.
• Build AI products: Help teams build AI products and prototypes yourself, using the tool landscape which you shape.
• Process redesign around AI: Re-imagine business processes around AI augmentation rather than one-off automation; document and scale learnings across units.
• High visibility and influence: Present strategy and progress to leadership; secure alignment and resources.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management (or adjacent), optimally revolving around data or machine learning products. Proven track record shipping AI/ML features end-to-end with measurable business impact.
• Technical depth: Strong understanding of LLMs, Machine Learning, Data Infrastructure and Analytics. Optimally, you started your career in a very technical role (e.g. machine learning engineer) and have now made the transition to a more product management or project focused role (but other career paths are also fine).
• Mindset & Communication: Bias for action, high ownership, helpfulness, capability to explain complicated things in an understandable way, fluent in German and English
