Java Engineer - Virtualization

• Design and implementation of APIs to represent technically complex workflows
• Further development of the Anexia Virtualization Stack based on KVM
• Design and implementation of new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Analyze and resolve issues to ensure stable system operations
• Development of features to improve cloud infrastructure (e.g., automatic load balancing and failover mechanisms)
• Conduct code reviews and ensure performance and maintainability of all components
• Further development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Automation of software deployments to a large number of globally distributed systems

• Completed technical training or degree in IT
• Several years of experience in software development with Java
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, especially with KVM
• Experience with API design and implementation
• Familiarity with code review processes and best practices in software development
• Structured and independent work style, with the willingness to learn and apply new technologies and concepts
• Excellent German language skills and very good English skills, both spoken and written
