IT Manufacturing Technician

We are looking for a motivated IT professional to provide onsite support and escalation for enterprise solutions within Manufacturing and R&D. In this role, you will work closely with IT Business Partners and Global IT to ensure systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.

• Provide Level 2 support for manufacturing and R&D systems (desktops, OS, antivirus, applications)
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring proper documentation
• Support integration of manufacturing systems in line with Industry 4.0 standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Advanced Operations, and R&D
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and promote shift-left initiatives
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards (patching, antivirus, firewall)
• Participate in global IT projects and support enterprise system adoption
• Recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings
• Support shop floor systems and machine-level integrations
• Contribute to IT operational processes (incident, problem, change, asset management)

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems or equivalent (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in manufacturing or R&D IT environments is an advantage
• Industry 4.0 or Microsoft certifications are a plus
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to influence and work across teams
