Senior IT Security Engineer – Consultant

Responsibilities

• You design and deploy cyber security solutions from various vendors in the complex IT infrastructures of our clients in the upper mid-market and corporate environment
• You develop technical security strategies to defend against cyber attacks
• You implement tailored security measures for endpoints, networks and authentication systems
• You establish measures for the early detection of cyber threats
• You advise and support our clients on all matters of cyber security / IT security
• You lead and take responsibility for technical security projects
• Together we look for projects that match your interests
• You participate in deciding which client project you will work on

• Several years of experience building and operating secure IT infrastructures
• Good knowledge of security technologies from established vendors (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft, Trellix or Okta)
• Solution‑oriented mindset and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Experience with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and CIS Benchmarks (nice to have)
• Relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CompTIA Security+, FCP, PCNSA, SC-100) (nice to have)
• Experience leading project teams in a technical security environment (nice to have)
