We are looking for an Engineer (m/f/d) CFD Simulation specializing in 1D CFD-Simulations to support vehicle development projects at our Cologne headquarters.

• conduct 0D/1D CFD simulations, manly for ICE simulation and mating parts, for conventional and alternative-fuel power trains
• ICE Performance development and engine real time model development

• hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
• have already basic experience 0D/1D CFD-Simulation within a professional environment in vehicle development
• be proficient with software tools as GTPower and MATLAB/Simulink
• have knowledge and experience with future energy carriers such as e-fuels and hydrogen
• possess a good working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera, and Python
• be able to speak and write professional English
• show interest in working in an international team and demonstrate intercultural competence, with an affinity for Japanese culture
• be a true team player, accustomed to working in a structured, thorough, and self-organized manner
