Our strategy? To be anything but typical strategy consultants! Our unconventional nature is embedded deep in our DNA. Sixty years ago, BCG shook up the world of strategy consulting. Now, it has grown to become one of the world leaders in the field. How do we manage to stay ahead of the pack? The answer is simple: by reinventing ourselves every day and providing a home with diverse career opportunities to the best talent and most creative minds all over the world.

What You'll Do

We’re looking for a seasoned and visionary (Senior) HR Business Partner to drive talent development and embed a strong performance culture across our BST functions. In this role, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor to function heads and line managers while also supporting our biannual Career Development Committee (CDC) process end-to-end—from preparatory calibrations to outcomes and follow‑up.

HR Business Partnering
  • Act as a senior strategic advisor to our BST function heads and line managers, providing strategic counsel on talent planning, organizational design, workforce transformation, and succession planning
  • Shape and drive an integrated, cross‑functional business partnering agenda in close collaboration with BCG’s Central Europe leadership, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and L&D, ensuring readiness for future growth and transformation
  • Consult closely with all departments throughout the year to guide career development discussions, navigate performance issues, and manage talent pipeline health
  • Design and lead strategic HR initiatives to embed a strong performance culture across all our Business Service Team functions, aligning departmental and individual goals with business needs
Talent Partnering and Career Development
  • Lead talent and performance calibration processes, partnering with function heads and line managers to prepare for and facilitate CDC discussions, ensuring consistent assessments of performance and potential, driving alignment on talent decisions, and documenting outcomes
  • Manage career development and talent actions, tracking and following up on promotion decisions, development plans, stretch assignments, and performance improvement initiatives to ensure timely execution and employee growth
  • Drive performance management cycles, including mid‑year check‑ins, year‑end reviews, and the annual bonus process, while equipping managers to conduct high‑quality development and performance conversations
Projects and HR Analytics
  • Lead and contribute to cross‑functional HR projects (e.g., competency framework design, engagement action planning, onboarding redesign, DE&I initiatives)
  • Build and maintain Excel‑based tracking tools and dashboards for talent data, headcount, CDC outcomes, and performance trends
  • Translate data and insights into clear, well‑structured PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders and leadership forums
What You'll Bring
  • A university degree and at least 7–10 years of relevant experience in people/talent management roles, ideally as a (senior) HR business partner
  • Proven experience in driving transformation and change in complex, international, and matrixed environments, such as developing or enhancing performance culture
  • Hands‑on attitude and experience in facilitating talent reviews, calibrations, or high‑potential programs
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint—comfortable structuring and building presentation materials for senior audiences independently
  • Solid Excel skills—able to build and maintain trackers, conduct data analysis, and produce clear talent dashboards
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams and deadlines simultaneously
  • Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
