Day by day our Tech & Product Team of about 400 experts pursues the goal of creating the best possible customer shopping experience for our online marketplace. • Youll work across diverse platforms and technologies adapting flexibly to the needs of each project and contributing to high‑quality mobile experiences.
• Together with your experienced cross‑functional team youll tackle complex challenges and continuously improve existing features in close collaboration with backend and frontend engineers.
• You take ownership of the entire feature lifecycle from concept and design to implementation testing release and monitoring in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• As part of the Kaufland e‑commerce module within our successful retail app youll align with peers on best practices while enhancing development workflows and application architecture.
• Collaborating closely with product managers and designers youll help shape data‑driven hypothesis‑based product experiences that create real value for our users.
• With your expertise youll help scale and strengthen the mobile engineering team fostering a culture of learning quality and collaboration.
• You also bring fresh ideas innovative solutions and new technologies to continuously advance our mobile application lifecycle.

• You have solid experience in core mobile development languages such as Swift and Kotlin combined with a strong understanding of modern mobile engineering practices.
• A deep understanding of S.O.L.I.D. and D.R.Y. principles which you apply thoughtfully in your everyday work.
• Hands‑on experience with architecture patterns like MVVM MVP and VIPER and the ability to select the right approach for each project.
• Experience building and maintaining projects in a modular architecture setup.
• Comfortable working with and debugging large complex codebases ensuring stability and scalability.
• You have Dev Ops mindset taking shared responsibility for operating monitoring and maintaining high‑quality software.
• Driven to improve processes continuously and focused on long‑term sustainable solutions.
• Strong grasp of TDD/BDD principles and a commitment to building clean well‑tested and maintainable code.
• Customer‑focused mindset delivering results quickly while making sound forward‑looking technical decisions.
• Experienced in agile development environments (e.g. Scrum Kanban) and passionate about effective collaboration.
• Motivated to grow personally and professionally while also supporting your team in becoming better every day.
• Passionate about technology and curious about emerging e‑commerce trends and developments.
• Excellent communication skills openness to our company culture and values and enthusiasm for working in an international English‑speaking team.
