Regional Key Account Manager – West + Rhein-Ruhr

The role

You will be responsible for developing and managing fleet and corporate customer relationships in the West and Rhein‑Ruhr area of Germany. You will drive B2B sales growth, execute regional fleet strategy, and collaborate closely with the Fleet Sales Lead Germany to ensure strong market penetration. Your geographical region will include Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn, Essen, Dortmund, Münster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, acquire, and manage fleet customers across the region.
  • Build strong relationships with leasing companies, enterprise fleets, and regional business networks.
  • Execute local fleet sales initiatives, test drives, events, and customer meetings.
  • Manage tenders, pricing proposals, and TCO‑based business cases.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Provide market insights regarding competition, customer needs, and BEV adoption trends.
  • Coordinate regional events, demos, and customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with Service, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure premium customer experience.
  • Support national initiatives by aligning commercial activities with central Fleet strategy.
Competences required
  • Preferably 3–5 years’ experience in automotive B2B fleet sales.
  • Strong B2B sales and relationship‑building skills.
  • Negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to communicate technical EV and TCO topics clearly.
  • Structured working style with strong pipeline management capability.
  • Familiarity with West and Rhein‑Ruhr German fleet landscape and leasing ecosystem.
  • BEV sales or consulting experience preferred.
