Sales Manager DACH – Composites & Engineering Plastics

UBE Europe GmbH is looking for a talented and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the growth of our Composites & Compounding business across the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

This is a key commercial role within our Business Unit, combining customer management, business development and close collaboration with innovation and technical teams to support the development of future products and applications.

How will your day-to-day look?

• Drive sales and marketing activities across the DACH region for UBE NYLON, UBESTA and DINA product portfolios.
• Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers, distributors, agents and key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand UBE's market presence in strategic sectors.
• Work closely with Innovation and Technical Service teams to translate market needs into future product developments.
• Support additional commercial activities and projects outside the DACH region when required.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative customer-focused solutions.

What are we looking for?

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Business Administration background is considered an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales of plastic compounds within the German market.
• Experience in a similar commercial role within compounders or international companies operating in the DACH region is highly valued.
• Strong technical understanding of thermoplastic compounds and their applications.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and develop business opportunities.

Languages

• German: Fluent or native level (mandatory).
• English: Professional proficiency (mandatory).
• Spanish:
  Valuable.
• Strong sales management skills.
• Project management capabilities.
