** Underwriter Property
** in our
** Property Underwriting Team Germany.
** We are seeking an Underwriter Property in Germany. This individual will strengthen the Underwriting team on various European underwriting matters.

**** What you’ll be doing:
*** Underwriting of large corporate risks in accordance with corporate philosophy and underwriting strategy
* Analysis, evaluation and calculation of Property risks, preparation of offers (lead and follow business), structuring of insurance programs and multinational business.
* Developing and maintaining strong and effective working relationship with brokers and clients in cooperation with other branch Divisions concerned
* Broaden existing relationships with clients and brokers while also developing new business opportunities where possible.
* Routinely analyze contracts and wordings and ensure appropriate pricing and utilization of capacities
* Providing an appropriate level of day-to-day management of the allocated SI´s Property accounts including risk management activities and maintenance of underwriting data
* Developing and recording of technical underwriting standards and pricing models in respect of the lines of business appointed for regular handling
* Providing support in relation to the branch´s general responsibilities and representing the Branch on external market forums where appropriate
* Other duties as determined by management, including but not limited to special projects, integrations, etc
* Working on projects
** What you’ll bring:
*** Adequate examination and /or 5-7 years of technical insurance experience in Property and for multinational business.
* Enhanced understanding of underwriting basics, including coverage terms and premium rating, concerning classes of business allocated for regular business treatment
* Enhanced understanding about legal and regulatory guidelines concerning classes of business allocated for regular business treatment
* Enhanced level of business awareness in line with good negotiating skills
* Enhanced communication skills in writing and verbal
* Deep knowledge of corporate underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing regulations and guidelines
* Ability to effectively assess risk by analytical skills; good judgment and problem-solving ability
* Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of progression of positions of increasing responsibility
* Solid knowledge of processing methods and workflow procedures, and basic knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulations for assigned countries/territories abroad
* Enhanced organizational skills in prioritizing work, multitasking and consistently meeting deadlines
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
