**** What you’ll be doing:
*** Support Underwriters from submission of a risk through to binding stage through defined aspects of the underwriting process (e.g. Pricing & UW data, initial risk analysis, Compliance analysis)
* Collaborate with Underwriting Operations & our Multinational team by preparing well-structured service requests (e.g. Binding Order, Premium & Tax allocation) and policy documents to ensure high-quality service delivery to brokers and/or internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
* Interact with brokers and other external parties including third party business providers, including the maintenance and development of good working relationships.
* Maintain timely and accurate prospecting, compliance management and premium accounting in the company’s policy administration, document management & CRM systems.
* Act as an intermediary between Underwriting and Underwriting Operations supporting both professional Underwriting and service delivery, especially during peak periods (e.g. 1/1 Renewal)
* Provide support to underwriting teams as required with presentations and meetings.
** What you’ll bring:
*** 2 to 4 years professional experience in the insurance sector with knowledge across several Lines of Business
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills - articulate and influential.
* Able to work independently under their own initiative and as a part of a team.
* Analytical with excellent logic and critical thinking skills.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize efficiently.
* Strong work ethic with an ability to operate effectively under pressure.
* Flexible approach and ability to recognize and adapt to changing business requirements.
* Strong numeracy and communication skills.
* Confident and self-driven and enjoy working to deadlines and targets.
* Bachelor or higher education in Business, Finance, Science, Law or related area
