Underwriting at Allianz Commercial, a specialist in corporate property insurance for complex risk exposures in over 200 countries.

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet financial targets.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and participation with brokers.
• Proactively manage capacity and evaluate Natural Catastrophe Accumulation.
• Adhere to Line of Business (LoB) governance framework and guidelines.
• Ensure contract certainty and utilize global pricing tools.
• Facilitate placing and binding of FAC Reinsurance.
• Support policy administration, credit control, and acquisition/retention efforts.

• Previous experience in Property Underwriting, from insurer or broker.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills for data examination.
• Demonstrated influencing skills without executive authority.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience working in a complex, global matrix organization.
• Ability to utilize AI tools to support day‑to‑day tasks.
