Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm that delivers operational and commercial due diligence, performance improvement, post‑merger integration, and transformation services to private equity investors and their portfolio companies.

Team

A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice focuses on the full investment lifecycle, using a Rapid Results Program to quickly assess business process risks and identify improvement opportunities.

How You Will Contribute
  • Lead commercial due diligence engagements, including growth‑strategy projects, managing teams, and leveraging stakeholder relationships to deliver superior results.
  • Identify and recognize new project and business opportunities.
  • Oversee client engagements and deliverables, ensuring progress, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and innovate service methodologies to drive client success.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, promoting knowledge sharing and research within the team.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and development of team members to foster a collaborative and motivated environment.
Qualifications
  • Strong academic record, e.g., degree from a leading university or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of the private equity lifecycle and relevant networks.
  • Native or fluent German and English; additional language skills a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
