Strategy Consultant; f​/m​/d

• Drive the transformation of LANXESS and be part of the team shaping the group strategy
• Preparation of analysis regarding global trends and assessment of their significance with regard to the chemical industry and LANXESS
• Preparation of analysis and presentations for the LANXESS Board of Management and LANXESS Supervisory Board
• Lead or participate in high-impact global strategy projects in cross-functional/ international project teams
• Screening and evaluation of Peers, potential M&A targets as well as of LANXESS portfolio measures
• Coordinate across corporate processes, regular strategy cycles, and resource planning
• Shape future strategy work at LANXESS by enhancing core strategy capabilities & customer focus, applying new tools & methods, and enhancing AI capabilities

• 3-5 years of professional experience in strategy consulting or in strategy roles within a large corporation – ideally chemical or related industry experience – and Master’s or PhD degree in chemistry, natural sciences or related fields
• Industry knowledge about and understanding of chemical markets and value-chains
• Highly skilled in state-of-the-art strategy capabilities including AI-enhanced strategy work
• Highly analytical way of working combined with an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to own and drive tasks to success despite obstacles
• Accurate, fact driven work, ability to process and present complex constellations in a way that is tailored to the target group
• International experience, fluent in German and English, written and spoken
