Specialist Welding Inspection; m​/f​/d

As a Specialist Welding Inspection (m/f/d), you are responsible for monitoring, controlling, and continuously developing quality assurance in the field of welding technology in order to ensure quality standards, occupational safety, and process efficiency.

• Technical responsibility for welding technology, including assuming welding supervision, with evaluation, monitoring, and documented quality control of welding work
• Providing technical support and guidance to welders, as well as organizing, monitoring, and maintaining welding equipment
• Analyzing customer complaints and initiating as well as tracking corrective actions
• Qualification, instruction, and further training of welding personnel in coordination with the welding engineer
• Ensuring compliance with DGUV regulations and internal quality management (QM) requirements
• Organizing and/or carrying out repairs of welding equipment (including outsourcing to external service providers)

• Completed technical training in the metal industry (e.g., industrial mechanic, plant mechanic, or similar), further training in welding technology (e.g., welding specialist/technician), or, alternatively, a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Solid knowledge of welding processes and technologies (e.g., orbital welding, manual welding, brazing, and plastic welding)
• Experience in quality assurance and documentation in a welding-related environment
• Ability to analyze defects and complaints and derive appropriate corrective measures
• Strong communication and training skills
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style
• High level of safety and quality awareness
• German language skills at level C1/C2;
  English at level B1 desirable
