We are seeking a highly skilled (Senior) Dev Ops Engineer (m/w/d) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructures that support our digital initiatives. Your expertise will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our system landscapes, which include Linux-based environments, microservices architectures, and web applications. You will be responsible for configuring and optimizing Dev Ops pipelines focused on continuous integration and delivery, fostering automation, and standardization across projects.

Furthermore, you will work on integrating AI-assisted engineering tools, such as Claude Code, into our development and operational workflows, and contribute to the conception and operation of LLMOps platforms for enterprise deployment of large language models. Your role will also involve managing container environments with Docker, supporting scalable application landscapes, and actively participating in 3rd-level support for complex systems. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are key aspects of this position, ensuring that best practices and compliance standards are upheld throughout our operations.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Dev Ops, Infrastructure Automation, Configuration Management, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Dev Ops platforms, especially Git Lab.
• Hands-on experience in application operations and automated deployment processes.
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes and/or Red Hat Open Shift 4, including enterprise cluster management.
• Experience working with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, testing, and deployment automation tools like Jenkins and Git Lab CI.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and scripting languages such as Ansible, Terraform, Shell, Go, or Python.
• Practical knowledge of container technologies, particularly Docker.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic, Splunk, or Opsgenie.
• Security-focused experience covering BSI standards, IT infrastructure security, Zero Trust models, secret management, and identity & access management (LDAP, SAML, OIDC, OAuth2).
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, incident management, and crisis communication.
• Fluent in German and English at C1/C2 level.
• Residency in Germany required.
• Additional experience with storage solutions like Ceph, Open Shift Data Foundation, or network/DNS/DI systems is advantageous.
• Linux system administration experience and familiarity with AI-driven development tools are preferred.
• Knowledge of LLM infrastructure operations, including API gateways, model routing, and GPU workloads, is a plus.
