PLC Software Engineer - Beckhoff twinCAT

ekvip automation GmbH is a software company specializing in mechanical and industrial engineering, headquartered in Leipzig with subsidiaries in the U.S. and Sarajevo. We develop TwinCAT 3 frameworks (including our open-source framework, cinnamon), C# applications for the machine and line levels, and services related to commissioning. Your Tasks

• Design and programming of control systems for industrial plants using TwinCAT / CODESYS
• Coordinate technical commissioning activities - on-site, remotely and internationally
• Optimize and enhance production software for greater efficiency
• Document systems clearly and create maintainable code structure
• Cooperation with the project management and the technical departments of our customers to ensure a smooth project execution
• Mentoring less experienced team members and raise team-wide code quality

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in automation engineering including PLC programming and commissioning of special purpose machinery or production lines units with Beckhoff controllers
• Profound knowledge of PLC programming according to IEC
  61131-3 ST/SFC with TwinCAT and/or CODESYS
• Confident handling of various fieldbus protocols
• High willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
