We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our team in Gerlingen Germany. As a Test Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing processes.

Responsibilities

Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to identify software defects and issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop effective testing strategies
Perform manual and automated testing on various software applications and systems
Analyze test results document findings and report bugs to development teams
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall software quality
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality
Monitor and analyze system performance to identify potential issues
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes
Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Selenium Python Java)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle
Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
