Hitachi Energy is seeking an exceptional Global Digital Service Solutions Lead to shape and accelerate the future of digital services across our global Service Business.

Reporting to the Head of Global Product Group, BU Service, this highly visible leadership role will define and drive the strategy, development and commercialization of innovative digital solutions that support customers throughout the lifecycle of their assets. Working across Hitachi Energy and the wider Hitachi Group, you will help create and scale next‑generation service offerings powered by Artificial Intelligence, IoT, digital twins, robotics and immersive technologies.

You will play a pivotal role in transforming traditional service models into connected, predictive and outcome‑based offerings, helping customers improve asset reliability, operational performance and business resilience while driving sustainable growth for the Service Business.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a proven global leader who has successfully scaled digital solutions and led complex transformation initiatives within industrial, energy, infrastructure or technology‑driven environments.

Candidates are welcomed on a global basis. The role could be based from multiple locations, however, the typical working pattern will be largely European timezone based.

• Define and execute the global strategy for digital services, connected solutions and advanced technologies across the Service Business.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of scalable digital solutions that create customer value and accelerate business growth.
• Drive the commercialization and expansion of AI‑powered service offerings, including the HMAX Energy portfolio.
• Lead the transition from reactive service delivery models to predictive, data‑driven and outcome‑based service solutions.
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs and emerging technology trends to shape future service offerings.
• Establish and execute the Service IoT strategy, enabling customers to unlock value through connected assets, analytics and actionable insights.
• Develop commercial models, value propositions and go‑to‑market strategies that support profitable growth and global adoption.
• Drive the introduction and scaling of technologies such as robotics, digital twins, advanced analytics and immersive digital experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, technology, sales, marketing and service teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
• Foster innovation across the organisation by building strategic partnerships both within Hitachi Energy and across the wider Hitachi Group.
• Lead, coach and inspire teams and stakeholders within a complex global matrix environment.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions and driving transformational change.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading large‑scale digital transformation programmes within energy, industrial, infrastructure, automation or technology‑focused organisations.
• Proven track record of developing, commercialising and scaling digital products, platforms or service solutions on a global scale.
• Deep expertise in digital services, Industrial IoT, Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics and connected asset technologies.
• Experience working within the energy sector, industrial manufacturing, automation, utilities or asset‑intensive industries.
• Strong understanding of service business models, field service operations and installed base management.
