Software Developer – .NET, C# ​/ VB.NET, Customer Projects

• Further development of productive .NET applications with new features, technical optimization and performance improvements
• Implementation of change requests and new developments in coordination with project management and Professional Services
• Design of technical solutions including effort estimation
• Development and maintenance of REST and SOAP interfaces as well as XML and file import/export
• Database-related work with Oracle and MS SQL Server, including queries, views and stored procedures
• Conducting code reviews, technical documentation as well as release and deployment processes
• Gather and refine requirements together with customers
• Specify change requests functionally and technically, estimate effort and represent them in customer discussions
• Independently conduct coordination meetings and product demos via video call or on-site
• Communicate results clearly
• Optional:
  Contribute to AI and automation topics

• German at native level, spoken and written
• Residence within a maximum radius of 60 km of Mülheim an der Ruhr
• Good knowledge of C# or
• Confident manner in customer-facing conversations
• Several years of professional experience in software development in a corporate environment
• Good knowledge of .NET, C# and/or
• Experience with large-scale, production-deployed applications
• Good SQL skills with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
• Solid web and integration fundamentals: ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML
• Good English for collaboration within the Valsoft Group
• Advantageous:
  Experience with Dev Express, jQuery or comparable UI frameworks
• Advantageous:
  Practical use of AI tools in development
• Advantageous:
  Experience with logistics, port, ERP or procurement software
• Advantageous:
  Proficiency with Jira and Confluence

Demonstrates expertise in .NET application development, including C# and , with a strong focus on performance optimization and technical solution design. Proficient in database management with Oracle and MS SQL Server, and skilled in customer communication and requirement gathering.
