An international engineering and construction contractor is seeking a Procurement Lead to take ownership of civil, structural and architectural (CSA) subcontract procurement across its German projects. This newly created role will work closely with pre-construction, commercial and delivery teams to appoint suppliers who can meet project requirements on cost, programme and quality.

• Lead CSA package procurement from scope definition and market engagement through to negotiation and award.
• Develop tender lists and engage suitable subcontractors across the German market.
• Prepare tender enquiries, manage clarifications and assess bids against scope, price, programme and contractual risk.
• Negotiate subcontract terms and present clear award recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement schedules and build relationships with the German supply chain.

• A background in quantity surveying, commercial management or construction procurement.
• Strong experience pricing, analysing and negotiating CSA subcontract packages.
• Proven experience working with German subcontractors and suppliers.
• The ability to work across pre-construction and live project teams.
• Data centre or other large-scale, technically complex construction experience would be advantageous.
• German language skills are highly desirable, but are not essential if you have strong experience in the German market.

This is an opportunity to shape a new role and have a direct influence on procurement strategy and supplier selection across major projects in Germany.
