AVATR Global Design Center is seeking a Visualization Manager to join our growing team in Munich. This role focuses on leading a high‑performing visualization team, driving workflow excellence, and ensuring world‑class visualization support across all stages of the automotive design process. We are looking for someone with strong automotive experience and the ability to translate design intent into compelling visual outputs.

You will play a key role in shaping team capability, process quality, and the strategic direction of visualization team.

What you will do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary visualization team; set goals, priorities, and performance standards.
• Recruit, onboard, and grow team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Define, implement, and optimize visualization workflows to ensure efficient, consistent, and high‑quality output.
• Collaborate closely with Exterior/Interior Design, CMF, UX/UI, Engineering, etc. to align visualization needs and expectations.
• Oversee project planning, timelines, and team resource allocation across multiple parallel design programs.
• Conduct quality reviews of renderings, animations, and real‑time scenes to ensure alignment with brand standards and the department/team’s practices.
• Manage internal and external visualization requests and ensure timely delivery for design reviews, leadership presentations, and key events.
• Maintain and refine visualization standards, processes, templates, and reference assets.
• Oversee the team’s use of visualization tools (e.g., VRED, Unreal Engine, Maya/Blender, Substance) and identify opportunities for workflow improvement.
• Stay aware of industry trends such as real‑time rendering, VR/AR, and AI‑assisted workflows; assess their relevance for the department and team.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Digital Media, Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of visualization experience within the automotive industry.
• 7-10 years of proven experience leading teams or managing visualization projects.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating, coaching, and developing creative talent.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with experience managing multiple priorities and complex project pipelines.
• Good understanding of 3D visualization workflows and familiarity with key tools used in automotive visualization.
• (Nice to have) Experience in a global automotive design environment, exposure to executive‑level design reviews, and understanding of design operations.
