Tax Compliance Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to strengthen and streamline their global tax governance framework. In this role, you will drive the refinement of compliance processes, provide strategic direction, and ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

• Shape and implement tax compliance strategies across the organisation.
• Ensure full adherence to domestic and international tax rules and reporting standards.
• Guide and mentor the tax compliance team, promoting consistent, high-quality output.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to integrate tax compliance into broader financial planning.
• Optimise processes, systems, and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Track regulatory developments and advise on their operational impact.
• Lead the response to complex tax audits, reviews, and official inquiries.

• Master’s degree in Tax or a related field; recognised professional qualification (e.g., German tax advisor, CPA, CTA).
• At least 8 years’ experience in tax compliance.
• Strong command of international and local tax frameworks.
• Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Effective collaborator with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient in tax‑related systems and MS Office.
