Apply as Trainee M&A Advisory (m/f/d) – Uni Credit Graduate Program What you'll be doing
- Work within a leading financial advisory practice offering a full range of investment banking services
- Join a dynamic team involved in the origination and execution of M&A transactions
- Be part of the junior pool with exposure to Uni Credit’s sector teams (CHR, Industrials, TMT, NRUI)
- Support active deal execution and contribute to the development of client pitches
- Conduct financial and operational benchmarking through analysis of company reports
- Gain a strong understanding of business model evaluation and competitive benchmarking
- Conduct company valuations using trading and transaction comparables, and create financial models
- Utilize equity research and data‑driven insights to support idea generation, company profiling, and valuation strategies
- Learn from transactions and senior bankers, making meaningful contributions to advisory projects

You also match with the following requirements:
- You are in the final stages of your master's degree in business administration, finance or economics with good/very good academic results (MBA, CFA is a plus), or have completed your studies within the last 2 years.
- Prior experience in investment banking and/or consulting, ideally in M&A or alternatively in ECM / Structured / Leveraged / Project Finance
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, paired with a fast‑learning ability
- Solid understanding of valuation techniques, including DCF and multiples‑based approaches
- Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of sub‑sectors and businesses
- Knowledge of Refinitiv / Bloomberg / S&P Capital
IQ / Fact Set / Mergermarket / et al. - Special knowledge and reliability according to § 87 (2) WpHG (2. FiMANoG) and § 1a and § 6 WpHGmaAnzV
- Ability to work under in a fast‑paced environment and deliver on‑time & on‑quality
- Confident and assertive conduct vis‑a‑vis clients & partners
- Hard‑working and motivated to “make a difference”
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluent English and German skills
