Medical Writer

Overview

You are able to create strong, lasting relationships to ensure needs and goals are met. The primary purpose of this role is to support the medical team on the day-to-day running of the client projects. This will include the writing and proofreading of medical content in the areas of Advertising and PR communication, as well as working closely with the account, creative and digital departments which will enable us to provide you with a solid grounding in servicing our clients’ needs.

• Build thorough knowledge of the necessary processes for the proper execution of medical jobs according to client needs
• Exhibit analytic thinking and an independent structured approach when dealing with scientific and medical content
• Begin to build understanding of stakeholders and target groups in health care communication
• Build through knowledge of expectations, processes and timelines involved in effective, high quality project execution
• Keep track of deadlines
• Provide team support as required, working with a positive and “can-do” attitude

• Degree educated
• Medical writing experience
• Strong written communication skills - German and English
• Proficient skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel

• Proactivity – the ability to anticipate client requirements
• Solution focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
• Strong team player
