To drive the smart and sustainable energy future, we are looking for a forward‑thinking and experienced Energy Data Analyst Lead to lead Entrix’s analytics initiatives, shape company‑wide learning from data, and contribute to the success of our core product.

As a Energy Data Analyst Lead, you will play a leading role in shaping Entrix’s analytics strategy, driving cross‑functional alignment, and amplifying business impact through data. You will act as the lead for the data analytics team  will be the mentor, and trusted advisor, guiding others through expertise, collaboration, and influence.

• Lead product & market analytics:
  Analyse trading algorithm performance and market behaviour to provide actionable insights to improve performance.
• Drive strategic insights:
  Partner with leadership on data‑driven decision‑making, providing actionable recommendations that shape Entrix’s product roadmap and business priorities.
• Mentor & lead:
  Lead the analysts in your team through mentorship and technical leadership, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and growth.
• Align cross‑functional analytics:
  Coordinate analytics efforts across teams, ensuring priorities are aligned and there is effective cross‑functional collaboration across product, engineering, data science and commercial domains.
• Enable data‑driven learning:
  Develop and maintain analytics frameworks, KPIs and tooling. Ensure insights are embedded in processes, promoting continuous learning and operational excellence.
• Engage with stakeholders:
  Jump into deep‑dives on certain findings with (external) stakeholders, tailoring insights to match the stakeholder needs.

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience as a mix of data analyst, data scientist, software engineer, energy trader or researcher, ideally within energy, trading or SaaS sectors.
• Deep expertise in energy markets and flexibility optimisation.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL and applied statistical methods (hypothesis testing, A/B testing, time series analysis, descriptive & predictive analytics).
• Strong understanding of cloud development principles and core AWS components.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional analytical projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels (including executive and customer‑facing roles).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Experience in high‑growth start‑ups or scale‑ups.
• Hands‑on knowledge of trading algorithms, optimisation models or market simulations.
• Advanced data visualisation capabilities (Grafana, Plotly, custom dashboards).
• Strong technical foundation in energy storage systems (especially BESS).
• Proven experience in creation of analytical platforms in close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with software development best practices.

• You are mainly experienced with no‑code BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) without strong coding skills.
• You are not passionate about energy markets and their complexities.
• You are uncomfortable working with ambiguity, rapid experimentation and evolving priorities.
