Overview

Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products. Huawei Cloud is one of the largest and fastest-growing platforms in the world, with a presence spanning over 40 availability zones across 4 continents and 23 geographical regions, including locations such as Germany, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Brazil.

Lead and conduct advanced research in robot learning, including reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and deep learning techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research outcomes into practical robotic systems. Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals. Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and deep learning, and apply these insights to ongoing projects.

• Ph.D. in Computer vision, robotics, simulation, computer science, information technologies, or other related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in robot learning, with a strong publication record in relevant conferences and journals.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and experience with machine learning frameworks like Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
• Experience with robotic simulation environments and real-world robotic systems.
