The Company

We are currently partnering with a global technology organisation who are paramount in the provision of business solutions for manufacturing and retail sectors – helping them to run effective supply chains and global sourcing practices.

The Role

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced technical business solutions architect to join the Munich Operation. This is a pivotal role for the company where you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture of their platform, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and secure.

The role will require you to collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to understand their needs and create solutions that align with those requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating new technologies and recommending ways to integrate them into their platform, along with developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of their platform's architecture and design.

The Person

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect.
• An excellent background in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS or Azure.
• RESTful APIs, Postgre
  
  SQL, Spring Boot (Java), Mongo
  
  DB, Active
  
  MQ, Elasticsearch, and AWS S3 or Azure Blob.
• Good understanding of data replication and streaming.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, including SOC 2 compliance, network security, host security, and application security.
• Experience with security testing tools such as SAINT.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops processes and tools.
