Friendly Captcha offers privacy-friendly bot protection. We do it in a way that does not get in the way of humans, so there are no image clicking tasks, puzzles or dark patterns.
We help companies protect their websites and apps from bots while keeping the internet accessible, private, and friendly for real humans.
We’re a bootstrapped, profitable cybersecurity company based in the Munich area.

• Write clear technical content for engineers, security teams, and enterprises
• Join relevant online discussions in a helpful, non-spammy way
• Create and share content in relevant developer communities
• Research bots, privacy, accessibility, abuse prevention, and web security
• Build small public tools, demos, benchmarks, and resources
• Improve our website, landing pages, documentation, and technical resources
• Help with analytics, attribution, experiments, automation, and internal tools

You’ll work on the things that make other engineers notice, understand, and trust Friendly Captcha.
That includes writing thoughtful posts, explainers, comparisons, and analyses. It also includes participating in places like Reddit, Hacker News, developer forums, security communities, and wherever people discuss bots, privacy, accessibility, and web security.
You’ll also build useful free tools: website checkers, demos, benchmarks, diagnostics, or interactive resources that help people understand the space.

You care about privacy, accessibility, security, and a better internet. Useful experience includes SEO, technical writing, developer tools, frontend development, SQL, analytics, cybersecurity, privacy, B2B SaaS.

You will have freedom to shape how Friendly Captcha shows up in technical communities and search.
You’ll build useful public resources, not AI slop. You’ll help us explain what we believe: bot protection shouldn't get in the way or harm real users.
Full-time or part-time, based in our office west of Munich with barista coffee and friendly coworkers.
