We are seeking a Strategic Development Manager to shape how and where TYTAN grows. This is not a quota-carrying sales role- it sits upstream of business development and owns the strategy behind our expansion: which markets to enter, which partnerships and acquisitions create long-term value, and how we position ahead of demand rather than reacting to it. The ideal candidate pairs sharp analytical and financial judgment with the operational discipline to turn strategy into executed outcomes, working directly with leadership on the decisions that define TYTAN's trajectory.

• Develop and execute TYTAN's growth strategy — identify, evaluate, and prioritise new regional markets, customer segments, and expansion pathways, backed by data.

• Drive corporate development and inorganic growth — assess and help execute acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments, including the business cases and financial models behind them.

• Architect and structure strategic partnerships with defense primes, industrial players, and technology partners that unlock access, capability, and scale.

• Own TYTAN's market and competitive intelligence across the C-UAS and air-defense landscape — threat evolution, competitors, budgets, procurement cycles — and turn it into clear direction for leadership.

• Build quantified business cases and help structure complex, multi-year commercial and framework agreements across engineering, finance, and legal.

• Act as a thought partner to leadership, representing the growth agenda cross-functionally and externally.

• 3–6 years in strategy consulting, corporate development, investment (private equity / venture capital / banking), or a strategic commercial role - ideally with exposure to defense, aerospace, or deep tech.

• A strong analytical and financial toolkit: business-case development, financial modelling, and market analysis.

• A demonstrable track record of turning ambiguous, complex problems into clear strategy and executed outcomes.

• High ownership and initiative. Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced, dynamic, and creative environment.

• Confident advising and interfacing with executive leadership and senior external stakeholders.

• Fluent in German and English. Additional languages are a plus.

• Hands-on experience structuring M&A, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships end-to-end.

• Understanding of integrated hardware–software defense systems, ideally in air defense, autonomy, or sensor capabilities.

• Knowledge of government contracting, procurement processes, and industrial-participation frameworks.

• Familiarity with the European defense ecosystem, NATO armed forces, or MoD procurement.

• Security clearance:
  Willingness to undergo security vetting as required for classified customer and partner engagements. Due to clearance requirements, affiliations with countries listed under § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may affect the application process.

• Travel:
  Heavy. Expect European and international travel for partner meetings, industry events, and leadership engagements.
