The company develops, manufactures, distributes, installs, and maintains digital surgical microscopes for the fields of ophthalmology and ENT. To strengthen our team at our Munich location, we are seeking a Software Tester (m/f/d) to start immediately.

Your responsibilities

• Conducting verification and validation tasks
• Analyzing and reviewing product-specific requirements
• Designing and specifying test cases for medical devices and software systems
• Executing test cases
• Formally documenting test results
• Documenting and tracking nonconformities
• Preparing the verification documentation required for medical device approval
• Setting up and maintaining test environments
• Relevant IT training (e.g., IT specialist) or comparable qualification (including career changers with the appropriate IT aptitude and practical knowledge)
• Proficiency in using internal testing tools; basic knowledge of command-line commands
• Basic understanding of relevant medical device standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
• ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level) are a plus
