Database Administrator; m​/f​/d

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious

Database Administrator with at least 3 years of experience and expertise in managing and optimizing various database technologies along with a background in database migration and conversion. The ideal candidate should possess initial expertise in database administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, automation, and the ability to migrate data between various database in On-Premise and to the Cloud.

• Administering and optimizing database systems on Windows and Linux using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL
• Installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading, and patching databases
• Deploying and troubleshooting High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Familiar with different Backups & Recovery solutions and third-party database backup utilities
• Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime

• Implement maintenance improvement and automation focus
• Perform regular database performance tuning and optimization activities
• Working with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure), Performing design evaluations/ recommendations for database migration strategies to the cloud
• Programming/scripting with Power Shell, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Writing complex SQL queries on customer data to provide reports needed
• Conceiving and implementing professional/technical training courses for internal employees

• Successful completion of Computer Science or Information Technology studies for system integration, with relevant years of professional experience
• Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certification or Microsoft Certification
• Excellent knowledge of backend database systems in enterprise architectures
• High teamwork and communication skills, reliability and an independent way of working and willingness to support the team
• At least 3 years of professional experience
