Intelligence-GenAI Solutions Architect -Frankfurt, Munich

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to serve as the technical backbone of our MaaS and AI solutions business in Europe. You will partner closely with our Business Development team to provide pre-sales technical expertise, design AI/ML architectures, and enable customers to successfully adopt Alibaba Cloud's AI platform and model services. This is a high-impact role bridging cutting-edge AI technologies with real-world customer needs.

• Partner with BD managers throughout the sales cycle, providing technical credibility and solution design support
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer AI/ML workloads, data infrastructure, and business objectives
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements
• Address technical objections and architect solutions that meet customer requirements
• Design end-to-end AI/ML architectures leveraging Alibaba Cloud's MaaS offerings (Qwen/Tongyi models, PAI platform, EAS inference services)
• Create reference architectures for common use cases: LLM fine-tuning, RAG applications, model serving, multi-modal AI
• Develop technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps
• Ensure solutions align with European data residency, security, and compliance requirements (GDPR, AI Act)

• Build reusable demo assets, technical documentation, and best practice guides
• Train and enable BD team members on technical product capabilities
• Contribute to partner technical enablement programs
• Gather field feedback to inform product development and localization priorities

• 6 - 15 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture on leading platforms (Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure), with strong practical exposure to AI/ML technologies (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, LLMs, MLOps).
• Solid experience with European customers and regulatory environments is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and troubleshoot complex cloud systems in production environments, not limited to high-level architecture design.
• Proven expertise in at least two of the following domains:
• AI/ML:
  Model training and inference optimization, generative AI, AutoML, large-scale MLOps pipelines.
• Cloud:
  Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, serverless architectures, HPC, hybrid and multi-cloud networking.
• Data:
  Large-scale data pipelines (Spark, Flink), data governance, and compliance-aware data architectures.
• Fluent in English and German (business and technical communication);
  Chinese language skills are a plus.
