We are seeking an experienced Engineer in the field of microfluidics or lab-on-a-chip to join our partner and help advance the development of their cutting‑edge next‑generation human diagnostics product. This is an excellent opportunity to join our partner’s international team in Munich, Germany and support their R&D activities enabling healthcare professionals to detect and monitor diseases with a non‑invasive method.
The Microfluidics Engineer will focus on the technology optimization aspect of the development and closely collaborate with laser scientists and development engineers. The goal is to develop and implement microfluidics platforms that enable temporal control of microfluidic‑chamber / cuvette flow‑through systems (microfluidic chips) and integrate them with infrared spectroscopy.
Requirements- Masters or PhD degree Biology, Physics or Chemistry / Microfluidics or Microengineering
- Experience in working in microfluidics engineering
- Proven track record in developing microfluidic system – knowledge in how to design systems is a plus
- Ability to establish and lead projects and collaborations – ability to drive forward and take responsibility
- Fluency in English
- European citizenship / EU Blue Card / Residency permit in Germany
- Willingness to relocate to Munich
