Senior Environmental Test Engineer; m​/f​/x

We are looking for a Senior Environmental Test Engineer to help us ensure our laser communication hardware is ready for space. This role is about collaborative problem-solving and shared success.

You will work closely with our team of experts to tackle complex technical challenges. Your role will be to strengthen our testing capabilities and processes through a hands‑on, collaborative approach.

• You will leadorparticipateinenvironmental test campaigns, with a focus on thermal andthermal-vacuum(TVAC), from planning and procedure development to data analysis and report writing.
• You will design and build new test beds from the ground upand improve andmaintainexisting ones, working with the team to expandand keepour in-house capabilities.
• You willwork with our Automation Test Engineers to automate our test processes and data acquisition systems, with a strong focus on LabVIEW.
• You will act as a technical mentorand coordinator, sharing your knowledge while actively learning from your colleagues'expertise in adjacent fields like mechanical or electronics testing.
• You will help refine and document our test procedure sand make sure our requirementsare beingrigorously verified,to ensure our approach is as robust as our hardware.

• A university degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant hands-on experience in environmental testing, especiallythermal andthermal-vacuumtesting.
• Proven ability to developandoperatecomplextest beds and automated test setups.
• Practical experience withusing
  
  LabVIEWfor test automation and data acquisition.
• Experience with data handling, analysis, and process development. Python skills are a plus.
• A foundational knowledge of electronics for troubleshooting test setups ishighlybeneficial.
