CAE Expert – Automotive Interiors (m/f/d)

CAIP, a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection‑molded automotive interior components, is expanding its presence in Europe. Our Munich site, close to major automotive hubs, serves as a key innovation and development center.

We are seeking an experienced CAE Expert – Automotive Interiors (m/f/d) to drive the setup, optimization, and advancement of CAE processes at our Munich location.

• Implement European CAE standards for interior components (dashboards, consoles, door panels, pillars, rear trims, etc.) and establish robust CAE systems.
• Lead CAE project processes: modeling, NVH, structural, crash, durability, optimization, airbag deployment, CFD analyses, and project coordination with European OEMs.
• Develop and validate material models for plastics, composites, foams, and fabrics; guide material testing and team expertise.
• Train and mentor the CAE team; enhance internal CAE capabilities.
• Automate workflows with Python/Tcl‑Tk; interpret European safety regulations and translate them into technical documentation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Automotive, or Materials Engineering (or similar).
• 3+ years of CAE experience with European OEMs or Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Proficient in CAE tools (Hyper Mesh, ANSA, Hyper View, META, Animator) and solvers (Opti Struct, Nastran, Abaqus, LS‑Dyna, Pam Crash); CFD knowledge (OpenFOAM, Star‑CCM+) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and German;
  Chinese is a plus.
